About Us

Allison Farms Lawn and Landscaping Services LLC is a full- service lawn and landscape company offering services, performance, and a client commitment package.

Founded in 1984, as Mark Allison Lawn and Landscape Services, Allison Farms was formed in 2005 offering the same services and commitment as the originating company. From its beginnings as a mowing service to the full-service lawn and landscape operation that it is today, Allison Farms has never lost sight of the fact that our finished product makes or breaks our reputation in the marketplace.

Allison Farms offers a wide variety of services, everything from design to installation to maintenance and/ or restoration. To ensure the highest quality, the desire for total control of the finished project has driven us to expand our services to meet our customer’s desires. Landscape designs have become more elaborate, retaining walls and pavers. Finish grading has evolved with sod work and hydroseeding, above the basic seeding. We also provide erosion control, silt fence, waddle installation, environmental matting, and SWPPP inspections.

Maintenance services have also expanded from mowing, bush hogging, and hedge trimming to include vegetation control, weed control, fungus control, fertilization, and insect control, along with offering a flower program. Fixing the work of others has led us into erosion control, concrete, asphalt, fence repair, and oil and chemical spill recovery. Winter can make us quite busy with snow removal and ice management. Finally, we also offer remote-controlled slope mowing for several clients of ours.

While current times dictate that cost is a driving factors in many decisions, Allison Farms continues striving to be the best value for the customer, which shows in our training.  All employees are cross-trained for the functions we face daily, (aside from spray applications which require state certifications), providing our customers with skilled workers who cn transition from a lawn mower to a skid steer, to a hedge trimmer, or to a shovel or rake or hand pruners. Our commitment to our workers extends from pay well above market rates to basic first aid and CPR training. DISA drug testing is inherent to being employed with Allison Farms, and we have realized a low employee turnover rate as a result of all of the above. Also, all of our employees have “substation” and “power plant” safety certifications.

Mark attended Purdue University to study Engineering and continues to pursue his education via semiannual training and recertification for his Pesticide Applicator’s License and Safety Qualifications. Mark is extremely active in the day-to-day operations at Allison Farms. Mark has his employees on standby seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day for any emergency response or project dedicated to certain customers. Mark has OSHA 10, OSHA 30 and DOBE certifications.

Our mission.

Allison Farms Landscaping has a goal to be the most reliable and highly respected lawn and landscape company in the Central Indiana area. We will do this by having the best employees, meet the highest standards, and we will place the customer and community first.
